根據富達國際《2021年全球女性投資理財報告》，在參與調查的六個市場中，因全球疫情爆發所衍生的影響，受訪女性當中有31％表示過去12個月可供儲蓄的金額減少，男性僅26％，其中，台灣女性有35％受到衝擊是所有地區中最多，但自己若有投資理財，不僅能減輕擔憂或焦慮情緒，且更有信心能實現財務目標。
富達國際日前發表一份《2021年全球女性投資理財報告》，首次探討跨歐亞等地區包括台灣、香港、大陸、日本、英國及德國等六個市場的女性財務狀況，同時評估新冠疫情肆虐所帶來的影響。
富達國際表示，在參與調查的六個市場中，退休儲蓄的比例男女差距尤以德國和英國最大，皆超過五成；另因全球疫情爆發所衍生的影響，受訪女性當中有31％表示過去12個月可供儲蓄的金額減少，台灣女性有35％受到衝擊，則是所有地區中最多。
但並不是所有受訪地區女性在疫情期間儲蓄都減少，富達國際表示，有22％受訪女性表示，過去12個月內儲蓄增加，主要原因是因疫情使得各類旅遊和休閒活動受限制，部分女性少了這些花費，反而多了資金可進行儲蓄和投資。
至於在投資理財方面，富達國際表示，在全球受訪女性中，只有約一半（52％）表示有積極選擇如何儲蓄或投資，其中又以大陸女性最為積極達73％，台灣女性接近整體平均約有56％，日本女性比例則最低僅28％。從投資的觀點來看，全球只有約三分之一（33％）的女性自視為投資者，比例遠低於男性（41％）；日本女性自視為投資者比例僅9％，因此，日本女性也最擔心自己整體財務狀況和理財能力；台灣女性有41％自認為是投資者，略高於平均，然而與男性有50％自認為投資者（50％）比例亦有顯著差異；大陸則正好相反，女性自視為投資者的比例達60％略多於男性（58％）。
富達國際說，從調查可見，大陸不僅是唯一地區女性自詡為投資者比例高於男性者，且整體儲蓄能力也優於男性，顯示投資使女性更有自信能掌握自身財務狀況，不僅能減輕擔憂或焦慮情緒，並且更有信心能實現財務目標，進而有助於扭轉兩性退休儲蓄的差距。
